Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how get-insurance-quotes.autos, operated by CODE & CLICK LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit this website (the "Site") or place a call to a phone number shown on the Site (the "Service"). Please read it together with our Terms of Service.

We are a referral service. We connect callers with licensed insurance agents and carriers. We are not an insurance carrier, agency, or underwriter, and we do not bind coverage, issue policies, or set final prices.

1. Information we collect

Information collected during or about your call

  • Your phone number (caller ID) and the date, time, and length of your call, and the phone number you called.
  • Call recordings and, where available, transcripts or call summaries. These may include what you say on the call, such as your name, ZIP code, vehicle details (year, make, model, ownership, and use), driver details (such as age and driving history), current or prior coverage, and coverage preferences.
  • Call outcome information, such as the provider your call was routed to and whether the call met a minimum length.

Information collected automatically when you visit the Site

  • IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system.
  • Pages viewed, links tapped (including taps on our phone numbers), time on the Site, and the page or ad that referred you.
  • Advertising and campaign identifiers that appear in the address of the page you land on, such as Google click identifiers (for example gclid, gbraid, wbraid) and campaign parameters (for example utm_source, utm_campaign, keyword, placement, and device).

Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

The Site uses browser storage and scripts for the purposes described in Section 6. We do not collect information through online forms on this Site.

Information we do not intentionally collect

We do not ask for, and ask that you do not give us on the call, your Social Security number, driver's license number, bank account or payment card number, or health information. Please share those details only with the licensed insurance professional you are connected to, and only if you choose to.

2. How we use information

  • To connect your call to a licensed insurance agent or carrier representative and to operate the Service.
  • To display a tracking phone number that lets us and our partners know which ad or page led to your call.
  • To measure and improve the performance of our website and advertising, including conversion measurement.
  • To verify that calls are genuine, detect fraud, spam, or abuse, and keep the Service secure.
  • To monitor quality and training, resolve disputes, and confirm compliance with advertising and telemarketing rules.
  • To receive compensation from providers for connected calls and to account for it.
  • To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use call content to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

3. How we share information

  • Insurance agents, carriers, and call buyers. When we connect your call, we share your phone number, call details, and, where applicable, the recording or information you provided with the provider that takes your call. We may receive compensation for this. The provider's own privacy practices govern its use of your information, and you should review its policy.
  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the Service, such as call-tracking and call-routing platforms, call-recording and analytics tools, hosting, and security vendors. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising and measurement partners. Such as Google, to measure conversions and the effectiveness of our advertising, using the identifiers described above.
  • Legal and safety. Where we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is needed to protect rights, property, or safety, or to investigate fraud or misuse.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

Some of these disclosures, particularly sharing call information with providers in exchange for compensation, and sharing advertising identifiers with advertising partners, may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state privacy laws. See Section 7 for how to opt out.

4. Call recording and monitoring

Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality, training, and compliance purposes. By continuing a call after hearing or seeing this notice, you consent to the recording. Some states require the consent of all parties to a recorded call. If you do not want your call recorded, please end the call. If a recording notice is played at the start of your call, the provider you are connected to may also record the call under its own policies.

5. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, to meet legal, tax, accounting, and advertising-compliance requirements, and to resolve disputes. Call recordings and call logs are generally kept for a limited period, as set out in our retention schedule, and then deleted or de-identified. The browser storage described in Section 6 expires on its own after 90 days.

6. Cookies, tracking, and advertising

Your defaults and choices. If you are in the United States, the analytics and advertising technologies described below are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time. Use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of every page to opt out of Advertising in one step, or the "Cookie Preferences" link to switch Analytics, Advertising, or both on or off. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, they are off by default. We use Google Consent Mode, so Google's analytics and advertising signals (analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization) follow your choice. Your choice is saved in your browser. Turning off Advertising also stops us from passing advertising click identifiers (such as Google click IDs) to our call-tracking provider and removes the ones already stored in your browser.

  • Call tracking. We use a dynamic number service that shows a phone number which may differ by visitor so we can attribute calls to campaigns. It stores ad and campaign identifiers from the page address in your browser's local storage under the name rtv_tracking_tags for up to 90 days.
  • Analytics events. The Site records when you tap a phone number so we can measure performance, using a tag-management data layer.
  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address and these usage details. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Advertising. Our ads and measurement may use cookies and identifiers from advertising platforms such as Google.

You can clear browser storage and cookies in your browser settings. To manage interest-based advertising, you can use Google's Ads Settings, the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out at optout.aboutads.info, or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out at optout.networkadvertising.org. We treat opt-out preference signals sent by your browser, such as Global Privacy Control, as a valid request to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising for that browser: when we detect the signal, Advertising is turned off automatically and the privacy choices panel says so. You can still turn Advertising back on yourself in that panel. Our Site does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals because there is no common standard for them.

7. Your privacy choices and rights (U.S. state privacy laws)

Depending on where you live, a state privacy law may give you rights over your personal information. These laws include the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA), and the comprehensive privacy laws of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, and other states as their laws take effect. Each law has its own scope and exceptions, and you may have these rights only if the law applies to us and to you. We offer the choices below to every U.S. visitor whether or not your state requires them.

Your rights

  • Know and access. Ask what personal information we collected about you, the categories of sources and recipients, why we collected it, and receive a copy of the specific information in a portable format.
  • Correct. Ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete. Ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. Tell us not to sell or share your personal information, or use it for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. See "How to opt out" below.
  • Limit sensitive information. Ask us to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose it for any purpose that would trigger this right (see "Sensitive personal information" below).
  • Opt out of profiling. We do not use your information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
  • Non-discrimination. We will not deny you the Service, charge you a different price, or give you a different quality of service because you use these rights. We do not offer financial incentives for personal information.

How to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

  • Use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of any page and tap the button in the window that opens. It turns off Advertising, takes effect immediately in the browser you are using, and is remembered in that browser. To change Analytics as well, use the "Cookie Preferences" link.
  • Send a browser opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control. We treat it as an opt-out for that browser (see Section 6).
  • Or email [email protected] with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" so we can apply it to other records tied to your phone number.

Because we cannot tell who you are from your browser alone, an opt-out made with the footer link or a browser signal is saved only in that browser. If you clear your browser's site data, or use a different browser or device, opt out again there. If you also want us to apply your opt-out to records we hold under your phone number, send the email above.

How to make other requests

To use any other right, email [email protected] and tell us which right you want to use, the phone number you called from (so we can find your call records), and the state you live in. We may ask you to confirm your identity, for example by confirming details about your call, and we may decline a request we cannot verify. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for written proof of authorization, and we may also ask you to confirm the request with us directly. We do not charge a fee for reasonable requests. We will confirm receipt and respond within the time your state's law requires, generally 45 days, and we may extend it once by up to 45 more days where the law allows, telling you why.

Appeals. If we decline your request and your state gives you a right to appeal, email the same address with the subject "Appeal" within a reasonable time after our decision. We will respond within the period your state's law requires (generally 45 to 60 days) and explain the result in writing. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.

Categories of personal information, and who receives it

In the past 12 months we have collected the categories below, from you and your devices (including when you call us), from our advertising and analytics partners, and from the providers that take your call, for the purposes in Section 2.

  • Identifiers: phone number, IP address, online and advertising identifiers, and cookie or local-storage identifiers.
  • Information you provide on a call (such as your name and ZIP code) as captured in recordings, and customer records within the meaning of Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e).
  • Internet or network activity: pages viewed, taps, referrer, and campaign data.
  • Approximate geolocation derived from your IP address or ZIP code.
  • Audio information: call recordings.
  • Commercial information: insurance shopping interests and vehicle and coverage details you mention on a call.
  • Inferences about your interest in insurance products.

Sold or shared. In the past 12 months we have disclosed identifiers, internet or network activity, approximate geolocation, and call information to insurance agents, carriers, and call buyers who receive your call, and identifiers and internet or network activity to advertising and analytics partners (such as Google). Some of these disclosures are made in exchange for compensation or for cross-context behavioral advertising, which certain state laws treat as a "sale" or "sharing." Connecting your call to the insurance professional you asked to speak with is part of the service you request. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Sensitive personal information. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, or health information, and we do not use or disclose it to infer characteristics about you. A call recording may contain anything you choose to say on a call.

Retention. How long we keep each category is described in Section 5.

California residents

Under California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code § 1798.83), California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes; we do not make such disclosures. California residents may also use the rights and the opt-out described above.

Nevada residents

Nevada law lets you opt out of the "sale" of certain covered information for monetary consideration. To make a request, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer or email the address above.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access controls, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where information is processed. We are based in Ukraine, and the service providers described above operate in the United States and other countries. Information about you, including call records and recordings, may therefore be stored, accessed, and processed outside the country where you live, including in Ukraine and the United States. By using the Service you understand that your information will be handled in these locations, subject to the protections described in this Policy.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party websites and providers

Once you are connected to an insurance agent, carrier, or other third party, that party's privacy practices apply to the information you share with it. We are not responsible for those practices.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes take effect when posted unless the law requires otherwise.
